Educated in Israel and the United States, Haggai Carmon is the founder of Globalaw, established in 1986 as a pioneering international network uniting 185 independent law firms across 80 countries.
Throughout his career, he worked in cooperation with U.S. government agencies on sensitive international matters, including work reflected in U.S. Department of Justice-related engagements.
He also serves as Honorary Consul of Estonia, reflecting his longstanding involvement in international relations.
He is married to Rakeffet—cyclamen in Hebrew—an Israeli-born former Air Force lieutenant and later an assistant district attorney. Together, they raised five children.
Since retiring from active legal practice in 2016, he has focused on writing and advancing ideas aimed at bringing people together, confronting extremism and terror, and strengthening understanding between communities and nations.
